What are the advantages of steel braided brake lines?
- Improved pressure point when braking, as the stainless steel mesh prevents the hoses from expanding.
- Virtually unlimited service life because, unlike rubber hoses, steel braided brake lines do not become porous, do not swell and are not subject to any aging process. Common rubber hoses should be replaced every four years, depending on the manufacturer's recommendations. This is not necessary with steel braided lines.
- The brake fluid absorbs less water because the system is more closed overall.
- Improved appearance in contrast to conventional rubber lines.
How to measure correctly?
Please note that the lines are always measured as a whole! In the configurator, the length of the line is also drawn in accordingly and should be used as a template.
For ring fittings, the measurement is always from eye to eye, for fittings with internal and external thread to the end of the connection. If the line runs at an angle, this distance is also taken into account.
Please always indicate the desired total length as drawn in the configurator!
